I find myself very interested in Busse knives and am even thinking of buying one but is there anywhere I can see pictures of all their models?

I have been to their website but it only has a whopping two knives. :grumpy:

I want a steel heart-e soon very soon. I'll beat it up good. can't wait... i guess they are all they are made out to be. well i'll be a believer soon

Yep, the only knives on the website right now are the ones available for "pre-order", and will ship in umm.. whenever they stop taking orders on them. There are quite a few older models/very few of the new ones available on the For Sale forums here on BFC. The Busse Company store (follow the links section on the busse website) has the new Meaner streets and some Narks available currently, and should be getting some steel heart fusions in later if memory serves.

Because Busse is a relatively small production shop they do batch runs of each model which last roughly two months, then cycle to the next model, over the course of a year after which it's repeated, this makes production far more streamlined, but can make the waiting for the model you want with the production options you desire a bit annoying.

The Bad Mojo site is great, has pictures of the new models and the old ones as well. Check out the Blade and Blade west 2003 pictures on the site for more pictures of the new knives, it'll help to get an idea of how big they are compared to each other(For reference, the new SF-Natural Outlaw is a good 7 inches of blade)

**edit** If you want to buy new, and want one of the combat grade Ergo lineup Busse's you can see if shomertec still has some in stock. Last I checked they still had Natural outlaws, Steel Hearts, and even the Battle Mistress.

Have some patience. 1) Decide on a model you want 2) Post in the Wanted To Buy forums, OR ask on the Busse forum if that knife ever shows up for sale (Forget about the variants, really old stuff) and keep your eyes open. We'll be glad to help a knife-brother out, but you've GOT TO LET US KNOW HOW WE CAN HELP. Pretty simple, Please don't get frustrated. You find something you need, or at least something close to it.

Two months? Try five months. Someday soon my FSH will arrive, and everything will be right in the world—until I start trying to work out when my Satin Jack TAC might arrive.

Oh the joy of being an INFIholic!

I'll move this thread to the Busse forum for you. I think those guys probably have one or two pix they can post....

Yeah, forget about the variants ;) Move along, nothing to see in the variants anyway.....;):p

:D:D

Agreed. Variants are just plain ugly and you'd probably be more pleased with the upcoming fusion line. They are BETTER ;) :p :D

The problem is, I don't know which one I might want because I've never seen more than two or three Busse knives. Thanks for the advice though. :)

I didn't know Busse had those different production styles. I just assumed they were like many other brands and produced all their knives all the time... :o And I know what happens when you assume! ;)

Yep, and once you find a model you like it's usually just a little bit of effort to find someone who's selling one.
