I really like the look of the badger and active duty models, I would like to know who other then Busse may have them.

Head over to the Busse Forum here on BFC. They would have evry answer to any question you have.

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ASK?
He was attempting to see if a Busse could be bought in other places like every other " Manufacturer" on the " Manufacturers Forum".. Ya know.. Like Buck, Camillus, SOG,Fallkniven, Shrade, Case..etc... Companies.... " Manufacturers" ,,,= production...that have a regular model lineup readily available.... or even semi-readily avalable.

Busse is more of a custom outfit than manufacturer, in the true sense of the word... Kinda like Randall... at least you can get Randalls ( albeit a hell of a wait time) but at least they dont make one batch of knives and call it quits, forever..

Please get a clue before you make ignorant statements.:jerkit:

Not real familiar with Busse knives are ya gringo. Theres a rotation, each standard model will re appear when the list finishes.

Randall has a four year wait, the longest I've waited for a Busse standard model was seven months. By the time a Randall came available the Busse model would be in rotation at least twice!

So besides bashing a knife company,,,,,,,,, whats your point? :foot:

Seeing as how in the last 5 years (again, Randall waiting time) there have been three seperate incarnations of the Battle Mistress and Steel Heart--not to mention over a dozen other models that have come out in that time...

The semi-custom description is reasonably accurate, but the rest needs some serious fact checking.

Leatherdude.. No Bashing !
You're correct. I'm not all that familiar with Busse's operation.
Ya cant bash a Busse
I called the other day about a Force One, which was introduced ( I believe) in aug of 2004 ?
That's 17 months.
I said
"Can I order one special...maybe from the custom shop ?
" NO, it's no longer available."

Will you be making them again ?
" I'm not sure"

Sooo.
I dont consider a company like that a " Manufacturer"
No bashing intended.. Just a reality.

Hell ...the knives have to be better when all of the focus is on a couple of items !
"Manufacturer"
Noop.
;)

Let me see. Busse Combat makes knives... whats another word for "make"? Hows about "manufacturer"? I guess that makes Busse Combat a knife maufacturer... Just because you cont get the one you want right now, that doesnt make them not a manufacturer. Try phoning Spyderco and asking for a Gunting. Guess what, you wont get one! Yet I bet you will call them a manfacturer.

Ya see there !
I am an idiot :D .. Or maybe not.. :)
I've been going to www.bussecombat.com looking for knives.

I just went back and still haven't found a link from that page to the company store.
I suppose I'll email Stratford design ( webmaster) and tell him the companies main site might oughta have a link to the company store.

Gee.
I need to order something.

Bladeart.com seems to get some models in from time to time that aren't available anywhere else. That's the only online store besides the busse one that I've seen them on. Good luck finding what you want it can be difficult but there are much, much harder knives to find out there.

uhm, dude, lookee here ..... http://www.bussecombat.com/links/ its the third down. :p

probably more of a special offering but it fits in between the Satin Jack and the Naturl Outlaw. It is real nice and is made for those than want toughness with a not so thick blade. This one is it. It handles fast. I might just be one of the most usefull Busses made.
