Just curious, how come a lot of people are selling Busse on the Exchanges Forum ?
Something is wrong ?

Thanks.

seems most Busse/Swamp Rat/perhaps soon to be Scrapyard knives are bought to be resold.

Jerry Busse makes using knives as good as anyone, but they are not only expensive, they also come in a bewildering variety of models, only a few of which are in production at any one time.

So it becomes a matter of collectibility for many buyers, with multiple copies or less desirable models constantly being sold off or traded for the latest.

Once that INFI enters your bloodstream, medical science is helpless against the ensuing addiction :D

The long-awaited Fusion Battle Mistress is now available for order on the Bussee Combat web site. They are not cheap, especially the thicker LE version. Several of the Hogs are raising funds.

I personally have never sold a Busse, but ever since I fondled a new SIG Revolution 1911 last week in a gun shop, it has been calling to me. Maybe soon I will be raising funds also.

I've noticed a huge spike in Busse's for sale since the FBM came up for order. I sold about half of my knives when the FBM became available to fund the LE version, but I didn't sell any of my Busse/Rats. It has nothing to do with the quailty or functionality of the knives, which are both suberb, but rather the Hogs (Busses addicts) are simply insane.

Busses are good users, but also trade and sell very well. They aren't being sold because they are bad and the owner wants to get rid of them. They are being sold because so many people want the models not currently being made that the owner knows he can get a great price for them.

I had a Busse Mean Street and a Busse Meaner Street. Both were great knives, but I knew I could sell them for more than they were worth to me. I put them up on another forum in the wee hours of the morning. After posting the topic, I hit refresh about 2 minutes later. "I want the Mean Street!" Wow, that was fast... *hits refresh again* "I'll take the Meaner Street!" Wow, that was easy money.

Some models is hard to come by, and they keep their value! So get it while you can. Fondle it, use it, etc, then come the time to sell to buy a different model that you like. Lately there is many special offerings and the HOGS is on the move

INFI insanity! I can't part with any of mine, but am glad others can! Considering how long Jerry has been making knives, I am suprised you don't see more for sale(no...I'm not :) )
