That is a pretty good price on that Battle Guard man, someone ought to be along to snag it up in short order. The HOGSJTLE is pretty darned fair too! If I didn't have one already, I would be awfully tempted.

Thanks, I figure someone missed out on these guys and can put the little "pirate" sword to better use than me.

i'll take the Mint Unused HOGSJTLE #189 ... woe is my pocket book...

These are crazy prices. You are going to loose $$$ if you drop them any more. Some one will grab these this weekend.

Beef-- The Battlegaurd is essentially a Battle Rat with hand gaurd, correct?

It feels different though.

The blade has a flat grind and the knife feels more balanced than a Battle Rat.

It feels more like a fighter than a front heavy chopper IMO.

A great knife and a great price from beef.

Thanks for the info guys. I think that the best way for me to tell if I like it is to hold it :)

Beef, e-mail me at "ssburris at msn.com", regarging the Battleguard.

The LE Satin Battle Rats were also totally flat ground and were lighter and faster. This one is like that, so pretty cool.
