My dad has been fighting a very bad cancer for almost eight months. He is a true fighter! With less than one month of chemo to go he broke his hip a few days ago. 
One thing that is getting him to fight through this is my first child, his first grandchild, should be born in less than two weeks
My father is the best dad in the world! Those "#1 Dad" and "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirts were originally printed for my dad.
He has been talking a lot about having certain things to hand down to me, to someday give to my son. He has the watch, the ring, the firearms, the family heirlooms, and of course a lifetime of great advice and just being a great role model. One of the things he wants my son to have someday is a nice knife.
I bought a DABA from Rob, and had a sheath made by Dwayne.
Dwayne carved my family shield and name into the sheath.
I think he did a great job, and I just wanted to say "Thanks Dwayne and Stacy!"
My first thought was to get a custom made just for my dad, but for now I had to do the next best thing. I am still going to try and get a custom made and engraved for him.
He is very excited about getting the knife and sheath!
