Busse/Les Baer combo

I just saw this, if anyone is keeping track of the price and availability on these.

Busse Combat/Les Baer pistol!!!!

Jerry, are we going to get an official word on these soon? I just need to know how many cans I need to pick up along the road sides so I can save up for one.

Didn't someone call Les and they quoted a price that was about 1K higher than that??

I believe the earlier price quote was for the model with the light.

I was in my favorite gun/knife store last week (Southeastern Guns in Trussville, Alabama). I asked the owner if he could comment on Baer 1911's. (He carries several custom 1911 brands, but not Baer.) "Top-notch, A-one" was his rely. I asked him about any issues or drawbacks to Baers. He said, "there aren't any."

The instructions given at Blade were to contact Baer directly. Of course, you would need some shipping assistance from your friendly local FFL holder.

They quoted me $3400 and some change for the tac rail version... thats dealer cost... MSRP 3850ish if I remember right.... Baer makes a first class weapon, but not one an enlisted guy can afford LOL! I would bet that would be one special pistol however.
