2 known to exist out of 7 made. This is not from the extravaganza sale or anything like that. The only other one is M8 in the Mean Street section of Bad Mojo. That one is or was 1whobuys. Mine is the other one known.

Looking at the mojo picture, it looks like this is double cut with black canvas. Is that correct?

Right about the black canvas, but not double cut. Still has the semi-rough grind marks and no talon hole which markes it as a proto. No other markings on blade at all.

I just dug it out of the safe and Rick, you may be right about the double cut. The grind marks are still visable, but it does look and feels like it went through the blast cabinet.

Usually with a DCBB, a blade is satin finished first, but with the protos hard testing was the #1 priority and the final finish was not so important.

This knife still has the factory edge, so for sure it escaped the test till destruction of most of the others.

DN, ya, this would be the centerpiece of any MS collection, along with the last MS made. LOL
