Busse LTD ED Custom Knives

Did not want a bunch of grief about the fact that Jerry makes custom knives. I know he does I was buying custom knives from him 10 years ago (see alot of you didnt even know he made custom knives back then).

Please feel free to discuss Busse's custom knives in this thread.

I dont remember if the one I had was a custom or factory . Its been 8 years ago. Were they custom then Les?
I do know I beat the h*ll out of it. It took a lickin and kept on tickin.

The Busse Knives I had 8 -10 years ago were ahead of their time, as were the prices for them. I think Jerry made an excellent knife.

I see now that he offers custom knives again at very hefty prices. Personally, I think they are a little out of line with the rest of the market. But it is the makers right to charge what they want. After all the true price of any object is only what someone is willing to pay for it.

Anyone else out there with Busse Custom knives. Surely he made more than 5, the 4 I had and the one Darrel has.

I have heard from a freind of Jerry's that he injured his hand very badly, Im not positive what happened but heard that a sheared off rivet from something put a hole in his left hand the size of a golfball. He has had quite a bit of surgery including bone reconstruction if my info (and my memory) is good. Not sure how good it is going to be....a Knifemakers worst nightmare!
