The base was a Busse SH ergo, iron guard, linen micarta grip.
The semi convex grind was changed to convex grind.
I loved the Infi steel, one of the best there is but I prefered a more ergonomical grip.

what's more ergonomical than an ergo(nomical) grip!
:D just kidding, that's a beautiful looking mod. I'm thinking of doing a hidden tang mod to something too but it's kind of advanced for me

Very nice! Did you do that work yourself? Would have loved to see WIP pics. How far did you skinny down the tang? That must have been tough work on hardened steel.

I didn'i do it myself and modeling the tang was very difficult. The tang goes to the end and is left as large as possible.I'll try to get some pictures from Dan.

Sweet modification ! Would re-working the tang and removing so much steel alter the temper and stress in the blade ? Have you given it a good hard chopping session since it was done ?

I have often considered doing a reduction job on my KZII and fitting a more ergonomical grip for my hand.

The work is hand done so that the temperature stays low.Chopping has been tested, the maker did his job very well. The only problem : a looooooooot of hours were necessary to do this project and yes Infi is more then tough.
Here another modification hand done too.

Nice, Thanks for sharing.

As long as they kept the temp low while doing the mod, should be fine with the HT.

Very different, but very cool!

Nice lookin' mod on the SH-E. I like when someone personalizes their knife, making it individual and mods it to fit their own particular desires. When it's your knife, make it fit *YOU*. Well done!!

Very nice mod . You have a real "one of a kind" look now

That is cool and very traditional.

The WIP pics will be awesome
