The Original Sharpened Railroad Spike!
I bought this with the intention of using it as an off-side knife for a shoulder holster, thinking that the extra weight would help balance out the rig. I never got around to doing anything about that and it has sat in the knife drawer, untouched, ever since.
As you can see, there are a couple of spots near the front and rear talon holes where the coating has flaked. Other than that, this thing is mint, with the original leather sheath (which has an insanely thick welt to accomodate the fat blade).
Having concluded that I truly prefer only the uncoated blades and being leery of destroying a limited edition custom by stripping it, I am reluctantly offering it for sale. Don't expect me to haggle much. If it doesn't sell quickly, I will just put it back in the safe....
Specs:
3 1/2" blade
Hollow grind with a partial swedge
7 3/4" overall
3/8" think INFI stock
Dark Green Coating (the first two pictures are more representative of the color than the close-ups)
Black Canvas EDC scales with some sort of coating on them (original)
1 of only 12 originals, not counting the recent Extravaganzaa models
Shipped Priority Mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation, in the United States:
