Was that a Busse the bad guy was carrying on Justified last episode?

Saw that also and was wondering the same thing. Sure looks looks close.
 
CGI blade on a Boss Jack handle? The grind lines are all wrong. Its been done before.
 
I think chances are pretty good, the same prop company has a few Busse knives and they get hired out to a few shows/movies.
The TG has been in a few movies along with TWD.
The Boss Jack has been seen a few times
As was a CG FBM

I agree the grinds are a little crude but I dont think CGI either a cheap knockoff or a crude prop made by Busse or the prop house itself.
 
Very nice! I really wanted to start watching that show. Are you guys big fans of it? I just started to watch "Bates Motel" and I can't stop!
 
Lots of times the prop houses will make a mock up for action scenes. Generally out of rubber. I have seen a few that use aluminum but never understood that one. Getting stabbed with dull aluminum has to hurt. Not sure how much safer that really is.

I'm 5 seasons deep into this series....even my dog watches and I don't think he likes Boyd Crowder.....:D

I would be worried the aluminum might break off in a heated fight scence and be stuck in between the ribs...OUCH!!!!!
 
Justified is an awesome series cant recommend it enough. Fun fact Boyd Crowder was supposed to be killed off in the first episode but Walter Groggins was so good they made him a regular on the show. Season 1 is good but the show really takes off in Season 2.

+1. Great show. It got me reading the Elmore Leonard books, which are just great fun.
 
Season 2 got me really hooked....

I loved that part. Great show.
