Busse Online Gaming!

A few of us in the Busse IRC channel discovered we have something in common besides oinking: StarCraft!

Tomorrow, Friday, at 9:30PM EST, we're gonna meet in channel Busse on Battle.Net (Type /join Busse when you get in to Battle.Net) for a StarCraft (Not Broodwar) game. However many Busse folks that show vs. some computer controlled opponents.

*** EDITED TO ADD: USEast gateway. That could get weird if some folks showed up in the wrong gateway. ***

I'm particularly speaking to Dark Nemesis, Mschwoeb, and alphamanIV, but if anyone else has a penchant for StarCraft, just let us know here.

Now then, let's keel some stuff. If this works out, maybe we'll have a Quake III game or something similar in the future. :)
 
Hmmm, did anyone notice that tomorrow was Tomb Raider's opening night? How in the world am I going to schedule all this in one night! :eek: :D
 
never starcraft, but warcraft 3 and diablo sucked me in there for a while...

Don't go on opening night. Go to the noon showing on Sunday. Easier that way. :)

StarCraft is fun, Gundy, and cheap now that it's been out for so long. You should pick up a copy. :)

Cheap is right, last time I was in BB it was on sale for $9.99...oh how things have changed with the passing of time.

Yes you're right she will always have my heart. Jolie is just a senseless obsession I haven't been strong enough to break. Now as I was saying.....but...but it's Angelia Jolie :D
 
You can try to play Quake III with a slower connection. We won't mind fragging you a lot. ;)
 
it wouldn't mean you fragging me alot, it would mean me lagging the entire game for everyone, trust me you won't be fragging me alot.

You using the expansion for Starcraft??? Too bad you guys aren't playing later... I won't be off work 'til midnight at the earliest... I always loved playing the Protoss and killing Zerg... :D :D :D

We're not using the expansion, no. However, Xellos, if past games are any indication, we'll be up for a repeat showing soon after the first. You should be able to get in on one game at any rate. :)

I'm up for it almost as long as the rest of y'all are.
 
Sounds good to me, I might miss the first match up but will definately be home for the second.


Might be able to make the first match....hopefully :D
 
Well, I'm waiting in channel Busse on Battle.net's USEast Gateway. Everyone who wants to meet before the game, well, you won't be alone if you get to the right place. :)
 
By the way, on Battle.net I'm casnaradach and Mschwoeb is Schwoeb so if we're not in Busse when you start, you can do a /whois casnaradach or /whois Schwoeb to see if we're on playing a game at the time.

9:30 is five minutes away as of this post. Hurry up if you wanna catch the first game. :)
 
Zal, I'd love to join. But don't won't be able to for a few weeks. After I move, I'll be all for it.:) If you are still planing on doing more gaming.
