It’s a new day at Busse Combat my friends. We have made enormous changes designed to serve you better and offer you many more options when choosing your Busse knife. The new line is very exciting and the designs are extremely cool! We will be doing things quite differently and here are just a few of the highlights.

Sheaths are no longer included with and therefore are not added to the price of the knife. We are doing this to better serve you. Now, instead of having to pay for a sheath you do not want, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of sheathing options and can have your sheath customized to your liking.

There will be three types of sheaths available, including Cordura, Kydex, and Leather. We have the top sheath makers in the world participating in this venture including, Dwayne Puckett (Armoralleather), Mike Bartol (Mt. Mike’s), and Kenny Rowe with various styles and options in leather. Eric Noeldechen (On Scene Tactical), Brian Wagner (Okuden), and Dave Brown (Buy Brown). In cordura we feature the awesome designs of Dan Hirayama (Semper Paratus).

In regards to shipping, Busse Combat has now turned the corner on missed or delayed delivery dates with this new production protocol and we are delivering all standard model offerings within the quoted delivery time periods.

Knife finish and handle options will be numerous. Blade finishes may include Three different Camo Combos (Urban, Desert, and Jungle), Satin, Double Cut, Tan, and Black. Handle options will likewise vary from model to model.

We are also considering a serial numbered, Limited Edition version of each model on its first run.

The production schedule is slated at 1 or 2 models per offer period. Those models will ONLY be available during the time period that they are offered and will not be offered again for approx. 3 years. For example, the Force One and the Nuclear Air Rescue Knife (NARK) were offered during the month of August, 2004. They will not be available again for approximately 3 years or until August, 2007. Likewise, the options available the next time around may be very different from those available the first time. This approximate 36 month stretch between batch runs, should make reselling your Busses very easy during the interim.

Here' are some of the models that you will see over the course of the next 3 years. They are in no particular order.

- SF Natural Outlaw
- Active Duty
- Force One
- Air Rescue TAC
- Meaner Street
- Leaner Meaner Street

I'll bottom line this for all concerned. . . It's really very simple.

Skunk has NO control over how many blades he gets. . . . He only gets what we send him. . . and it seems like it's NEVER enough! . . . Why not make more???. . Well, we're busy filling a lot of mil. orders and regular direct orders and are just too drunk to get anymore out the door.  :D

Skunk orders 10,000 Game Wardens at a time. . . We send him a few hundred. . . He gets drunk . . . I'm already drunk. . . He puts them up on BCS on a "first come, first serve basis". . . (That's my rule, not his) . . Most everybody gets drunk while waiting. . .They sell out quickly. . . Some folks score, some don't. . . Nearly everyone is happy!. . . . . . If you're not happy, it simply means that you don't drink enough or you don't fully understand the battle cry of the INFI HOG which is, "NO REGRETS! . . . Drinking can help you to understand!. . .

The bottom line: Knife collecting and knife using and abusing is supposed to be fun! If its not fun, you need to drink more!

ANY and ALL suggestions or complaints should be directed to me. My email is jerry@bussecombat.com My phone is (419) 923-6471. . . . Call early, I'm usually hammered by noon!!!

See, it's all fairly simple!!! :D

Cheers!

Jerry :D

If you are new to the world of Busse Combat, a great way to get info is just a few clicks away! Don't lose heart at the vast amount of information here. Read the information contained in the threads stuck to the top of this forum. There are items regarding the Busse Combat Production Protocol, the Busse Combat Company Store Sales Protocol and other valuable items that my mind is far to small to remember. Avail yourself of this knowledge and much of the fog will be lifted my friends. Also do not forget to get familiar with the search function, it is also invaluable, just remember that the Busse name occurs so many times in these forums that if you do not use the advanced search feature it will not give you a thing. If you are searching within this forum, I would leave the name out of any searches in the first place. Your brother and sister Busse enthusiasts will also be more than willing to help answer anything you can find in the sources I have mentioned. We're about spreading the word and the appreciation of Busse Combat knives.

Welcome aboard and believe me your first taste of INFI will not be your last, so if you have an addiction prone personality, you had better have a fat wallet. :)

Oh yeah and before I forget, it is pronounced Bus-E, not Boosie or Boozey or Bus with a silent E or like Gary Busey. :D (Probably the #1 most asked question that could easily be solved by using the search function)

I hope this helps answer any questions up front for you and again, welcome!

Since we have had some questions and contention regarding this, let's flesh it out.

True we can't discuss blades on the exchange due to the chatter problems that arise, we can reference a sale in this forum, but don't just spot the sale and leave it at that. Trying to point fellow forumites to a potential buy is not a good enough excuse to make a non-discussive post regarding a thread in the exchange. For you to begin a thread regarding a blade or blades in the exchange, you have got to start a discussion regarding that blade or blades.

What we want to avoid with the spot and leave it type thread is the same thing we are trying to avoid by prohibiting auction spotting threads. Shilling your own or a buddy's sale is not going to fly here. As Mike said in a previous discussion, we as moderators can not judge your intent in a spot and run thread and will will be forced to assume that it is possible your are spotting your own or a buddy's sale. That doesn't fly in the exchange and it doesn't fly here. I am not saying that was the case with the thread that lead to this post, but it could be in future threads.

What about the Co. Store you say?

As I understand it the Co. Store is operating under the auspices of Jerry and therefore saying Skunk can't mention new blades there is not a problem nor can we penalize forum members from posting regarding blades being available at the store. It would be like telling you guys you can't mention that Jerry is selling Badget Attack TACs right now.

Any other questions or points I missed that I can add, please feel free to drop me a note.
