While the mod appears really well done, I hate to see it done to such a sweet Jerry original.

I'd still give it :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
So, it was stripped and a new edge put on? Not a very brave mod in my opinion.

But I guess you have to take some things in baby steps.
 
Actually I think that was a well thought out modification to a knife that didn't need that much alteration. Bravo!
 
I like it bro!!! It may not be drastic, but lends enough to make you happy and give it a rugged almost rustic look to it :thumbup::cool: Sometimes less is more :D
 
It could be because the coating has been removed, but it looks like the grind has become much more hollow? Is that right?
It looks better stripped, but I don't like the coating on any knife, that's just me.
The knife looks better now, IMO. :thumbup:

I like the way it looks, and I can certainly appreciate anything I probably couldn't do... simple or not. Good stuff dude!
 
I've never seen the PD , But I Love the way that thing looks .

I like it, looks great. As long as you love it that's all that counts, cause you are the one that needs to live with it. If it makes yo8u happy, that's all that matters!
