Busse Sar 6 scales question

I'm eyeballing a sar 6, the owner says he's pretty sure it's micarta but not positive, it's black with very thin layers of blue, as far as I know any two-tone colors would make it g10. So I just wanted to check with the Hogs, it's far "blacker" than canvas, but does the black paper sometimes contain this much blue? Here's a close-up from the owner:

That's what I thought, thanks! It's just far blacker than most bruisers that I've seen. Does the amount of blue depend on the model or does it go through phases, or just completely random?
 
Different runs have different overall appearances. AZtimT has a great pic of the different bruiser colors.

Jerry currently offers only "black" (looks gray or brownish) or tan canvas micarta. Multi-colored types like Snakeskin, green linen, and tigerhide were available options once upon a time but are now rare and found only on few ganza or show offerings, if at all. The only dark black micarta offered is or was black paper but that has not been offered since, it would seem, "Operation 2 Weeks" kicked off. Green and maroon will show up when the Boom Parang arrives. The only current multi-colored options are all G-10 with Sandstorm and Tequila being "specials" and not generally available. As noted previously, each batch varies in appearance and can vary within a batch so that it can look different on two of the same model knives. Variety, spice of life and all that.

Beatiful dark Bruiser g10 came on the sar6. This was a unique batch of standard thickness blue/black g10 that was on the sar6 and some boss jacks, including the midnight blue fat bj's from Blade '15. It is not very common and a great score! :thumbup:

Awesome thanks for the picks Tim, I did manage to snag it, I had previously placed an order for an MSe but this will be the first true Busse to reach me, and my first piece of Infi, so I'm very excited, should get here either Saturday or Monday next!
 
I saw this last night. If it was on that auction site. Great price. Good luck with it. Awesome knife!

Well in general I prefer micarta, so there is a chance I may end up wanting to trade, but I'm definitely gonna give them a chance first!
 
Wow, I really like that dark bruiser color!
 
I'll take some better pics of mine once it gets here, I'm really hoping for Saturday, is so I'll take it out for a spin Sunday!
