Anyone have anything other than kydex covering up their Sarge? Have two from Chuddy bear on the way, but wondering what others are using. Currently mine is housed in a large spec ops.

I was going to say Spec Ops. I recently took delivery of the new Team Gemini model with the Spec Ops sheath. I noticed that the sheath fits the SARGE 7 pretty well. Mike

Here's mine in the large Spec Ops with some kit fit into the pouch:

The titanium tube and spectra cordage reel is the "Son of Exo" from TiSurvival. Inside, is the reel with spectral line, a quick tinder, small ferrocium rod in 3/8" and some iodine tabs for purifying water. I also carry a storm whistle and a length of accessory cord which is smaller than 550 cord but very similar.

I opened the top of the plastic insert in the sheath a bit for a better fit too.

All in all, a very nice set-up. As soon as the Chuddy Bear gets home, it'll take a backseat though...

Looks like a nice setup. Isn't O Pos considered the universal donor - but can only accept from other type O's? Hopefully you don't get requests for transfusions while wearing your sheath! Mike

I just ordered a sarge 7 w/ a kydex sheath and I eagerly await its arrival in the mail. As soon as it comes in, its going to Spen from JRE Industries for some custom leather. He does some great work that would be fitting for a kingly blade.:)

I have a TG LB on the way (black on tan) that will go in a black spec ops. I also have an unused OD spec ops sheath at home, and now I'm thinking I may have to order a SARGE-7 in green & black G10 to go in it. It's great how having spare sheaths makes me feel like I'm saving money when I spend $$$s on a knife!

I like to carry a pocket chainsaw and a SAK in the pocket on the spec ops. Alongside a good, large blade, you have all cutting needs pretty much covered.

Also on the subject of sheaths, got some great work in from Armoralleather this week. If my camera wasn't currently in the back-pocket of some mozambican baggage handler, I would have posted some pictures.
