Good question; I believe perhaps Black G-10, they are quite dark and of a smoother texture than canvas micarta.

That probably makes them black paper micarta. I am pretty certain that Jerry only recently introduced G10, long after the Force One had come and gone.

Thanks for the info Rick; You are probably correct, they are much blacker than the black canvas micarta on my coated Force One.
