I know it has been discussed before but not recently but I love seeing serrations on the spine of Busses. They are so well done, in fact I was thinking about asking to see if it would be possible to have them put on my NMFSH DC that I ordered. What do ya'll think, like them hate them, would you add them to your NMFSH if you could?

Not my cup of tea, especially for a knife that big, but if you like them you should call the shop next week.

I love em.

Have them on my FBM Proto.

Those are gorgeous. Does anyone know what is the price point for serrations? I assume it is charged by the inch?

I like them, but in my experience, they're not very sharp. Get Beef workin' on them mothers and I'll take one

They ruin perfectly good knives and turn them into fantasy pieces to me. If I need serrations I'll use my Spyderco Rescue. Different strokes for different folks. If we all lined the same thing life would get pretty boring.

I don't know... Now I don't have one with spine serrations and I don't baton, i just chop, but I don't see how spine serrations are going to make it a less effective chopper with the main edge. In my mind, as long as it's not going to be dangerous for me or hinder performance, why not have more edges? Good to always have a back up, even better if the back up is on the same tool.

But, I have to admit, it's mostly about looks for me. If I could only have one, I probably wouldn't so I could baton with it/lean on the spine if I need to, but chopping is what I love and you can always find money for the things you love.
