If you send back your knife for resharpening do they recoat it too?
Is that an option you can choose form? If they do, i would like
to see some of yalls Beater back to Beauty pics if ya have any.!!
Thanks!!!!!

I don't think Busse re-coats blades when people send them in for a sharpening.

I honestly couldn't tell you. Getting the coating put back on has never even crossed my mind as what lies beneath is much nicer to me.
Amy-0 told me on the phone once that if I was unhappy with something on the blade to send it in and they would make it right. Whether that applies to the coating too, I don't know as that was in reference to an FBMLE. Someone else may come along with better info for you or you could call/email the shop to get it straight from the horse's ...err hog's mouth. ;)

They will definitely re-coat, but I doubt that re-coating comes as part of a sharpening job. I had a blade re-coated once, I don't recall what they charged, but I do recall thinking 'well, that's pretty reasonable'.

And it never hurts to ask.

To separate issues Bro!!! If you ASK for a recoat they will do that (for a fee), BUT it's not part of a resharping. Contact the Lady's and or Garth and they will set you up for what you want.

Didnt figure the recoating came with the sharpening. Got a BWM that is looking pretty
rough and iam just putting a job shop grind back on the edge.
Was just curious if yall had some pics of beaters then recoated.
Thanks for the info.
