Hi All,

This may be a first..at least a first for the small Elmax ;).
i've had a blast trying this little slicer on various mediums, and the next up was leather.
All cutting for the sheath was done was by the Steak Knife; yet again it exceeded my expectations.

Sheath was a quickie, (evidently) but have a lot more work coming up on the farm, so needed something yesterday.
In any event, (humble as it is) here's another tribute to Busse & Kin; thanks Jerry and Team for all the outstanding work!

The Sheath, carved out by the blade it carries, is a little belt sheath:

Hope you're doing great,

Seth

Nice work I really like R9 sheath it's got some character. It looks like something you'd find on a modern day mountain man.

Thanks Barbarossa!
Yep, the R9 sheath is my hands down favorite so far (just as the R9 is my favorite chopper to date), it has kept the R9 cozy from the mountains to the beach.. in snow, rain, sand etc (btw..I'm so thankful for beaches where you can still have a fire)...I wiped a crud load of mud off of the sheath before the pic, and I still missed a bunch :).
The finger choil on the R9 really was really rewarding to mold around.

How did you do that weave for the sling on the R9 sheath????! Its awesome and I want to do it myself.

Those are a couple of great looking sheaths! I like how the sheath for the Elmax almost matches the handle in color. Awesome job!
