How does the Busse Spa or whatever the blade refinishing service work, and How do I go about contacting them to send a knife for a new coating?

The spa is a relaxing, calm enviroment. First, your knife is removed of its scales, then given a nice penetrating bath to remove the old finish, then enteres a "hot tub" type machine to clense the pores. Then, pampered and dried carefully and lovingly.

Your knife then goes into a special booth that resembles a spray on tan booth to give it a nice luster.

Prices depend on what tone your knife is going through this season, and if your knife wants a happy ending or not :eek:



Truth be told, I really don't know, never had a blade recoated (got to love ghetto satin). But, prices I think are $40 or so, and the best person to contact would be Amy, she could tell you.


I have heard rumors that Josh just takes a knife and a can of spray paint and takes it in the shop's parking lot and sprays it a bit ;)
