Busse Specific Sales forum. . . ?

Where should I be selling my knives?

How many of you now use/view only the Busse Sales Forum when looking for knives? I really do not want to post there, but I want to figure out where the most buyers go . . .
 
That is pretty much the only place I look, sometimes the gear for sale exchange too. Once in a great while will I open up the general exchange to have a look around.
 
Well the Busse sales forum is where I go most often but I do check the regular one from time to time. I don't go to ebay often.
 
I always check the Busse sales forum. Sometimes I have a quick look at the general forum but not often. Can't stand evilbay but I do look there occasionally.

Ditto for me on that one... Busse Exchange, Gadgets and Gear for sale or trade, then General Exchange MAYBE...
 
EBay has become a real turn-off. I prefer to stick to the Busse exchange and people I am familiar with.

A girl needs a knife...
 
Busse Exchange is the best place to get your target audience's attention for sure. eBay is expensive in comparison with the fees being based on sale price and not a simple membership. That's why I think a lot of the Busse's that don't sell on the board go to eBay secondarily.
 
I have found some excellent deals on eBay! I have sold a few there and later seen them posted as new acquisitions here, plus I constantly see rare and just plain hard to find Busse's there.
Not to mention I have seen a number of Busse's for sale here on the forum that were also for sale simultaneously on eBay.
I bet if the knife is priced right it will sell, regardless of where you choose to do it.

But I do hit the WTB and the WTT subs regularly, looking for the INFI-less !



exception being, if something shows in 'New Posts' (customs, Bowie .....), I'll check it out, and maybe hang for a bit.
 
People looking for Busse's always check the Busse sales area first. I look there several times a day, only look at production area few times a week.
 
The Busse exchange forum is great, I much prefer it to when everything was mixed up. Now I don't have to sort through tons of listings of knives I couldn't care less about.
If I were to sell any of my Busse's off, the Busse exchange is where I would do it. I never go into the other "for sale" forum anymore, but I check the Busse exchange several times a day- scoping for deals.
 
Speaking for myself, I check on the Busse Exchange every day for potential goodies.
I have had great luck buying on ebay also. When I sell I prefer to keep my old Busses circulating in this close community of hogs.:thumbup:
 
One of the reasons I originally didn't want a separate sales forum is because I knew that I would only visit the one with the knives I seek the most, and I kinda liked seeing what else was out there... Sure enough, that has happened... I usually only visit the Busse sale forum, WTT, WTB, and occasionally the custom knife FS forum now. Just a matter of preference, LOL

EDITED to add: I do still check that "e" place... I haven't bid on a Busse in a loooooong time. But since I found my ARK there, also a BM-e and a ZTBM... So I check it every so often.
 
I check the Busse forum and that horrible other place every regularly. I should probably get a gold membership so I don't have to sell at that other place anymore . . . .
 
I prefer when the ForSale was all one section. Now i really only look at the Busse sale section... and I am sure I have missed out on some nice nonbusse stuff because of it.

Many times in the past (on the integrated fs forum) I would look for Busse, and find great deals and other things of interest, and my collection was growing and quite varried. Since the forums split and are dedicated, I have not bought a non Busse since.

I have never used ebay to sell anything anyways, I hate them too much to do so.
 
I too go directly to the Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrapyard exchange. The best place. I go to ebay once in a while, but haven't bought a Busse family product off there. I also hit the WTB & WTT on BF. There is often some good stuff there and you may be able to work a sales deal with someone sometimes. There's also this Busse Kin Exchange thing that I look at once in a blue moon, but I don't quite get it.
