I brought my first Busse, SH II 5 years ago and can't get enough, I have since brought and used many knives. None have stood up like the Steel heart. Just recently while I was deployed to Kuwait I saw Jerry donated 40,000 Dollars worth of knives to the military I was one of the lucky receivers of a blade, It was the greatest benefit for serving in the military I have every recieved. This guy is a patriot! Now to save some money for a Battle Mistress.:D :D

thanks for serving and glad you got one of those donated Busses !!

I recently read in Blade Magazine how some knife manufacturers were being recognized for their donations to the US Military. Busse was not mentioned (!) and I bet that Jerry donated more knives of more value than anyone!

Anyway, welcome to our forum and thanks for your comments!

Chad,
Welcome to the Busse forum and thank you for your servive to
our country!

Yes Chad, welcome. And, thank you for your service to our country.

Just curious, which model did you receive? What were some of the "unknowing" peoples reactions? We'd love to hear what you can post.

Mike

Chad,
Welcome to the Busse forum, glad you stopped by.

Thank you for your service and feel free to share some of your Busse experiences with us. :D:D

Of course everyone was jealous, There was a reserve unit from Georgia deployed with us and boy do those guys love there knives. Knives and Guns made up 70% of our conversation once we got past the language barrier, Us New Englanders have a hard time understanding their Southern Drawl. Good times all around.

Hey Chad,

Glad you stopped by and glad to hear that the knife has worked out for you.

Be sure to stop by often. . . . We're a lot like those guys from Georgia. . . we LOVE talkin' about guns and knives. :)

Thanks,

Jerry

Oh yeah, women and trucks are acceptable topics also! However the CBL vs. PBR debate is off limits...as southern gents we can agree to disagree. Thanks for your service Mr. Chad!

Clyde,

PBR. . . is very close to Carling. I believe they are brewed in the same brewery???? Kinda like Busse Combat and Swamp Rat! ;)

Both are now owned by Coors . . . . Carling and PBR. . . not Swamp Rat and Busse Combat.

Carling is the number 1 selling beer in the UK! . . . so, much for Guinness . . .the beer you can chew! ;)
