Every year our neighboring county creates a huge corn maze for people to enjoy getting lost in. Here is the photo of this years corn maze.

So this maze is ridiculous, and I was walking in circles...:D I may have never made it out alive if it wasn't for my MBC! I dug that little baby out of my bag and used it to carve arrows into the dirt to show me which direction I had already travelled down. Brilliant right!?

I know this isn't really much of a survival story, but it was getting dark and cold....:p

Does anyone else have any stories where your knife got you out of a sticky situation? Which knife did you use and do you always carry it with you?

And I thought this was going to be a "Children Of The Corn" story .... ;) Glad you made it out, I myself would have just used the MBC to carve out a little area off the track and spent the night.... :D :D

Oh yea!! My fionce found out I bought a $400 knife behind her back and she proceeded to verbally "tear me a new one". So in the middle of her yelling, I placed the beautiful hunk of steel in her hand and she stopped and said woah.......thats cool! Darryl uses this knife to kill zombies???? Sweet! Buy me one too!.........Whooo.......crisis averted!! That is a survival story right??? Thank God for the TGLB:D

You could have hacked your way through the corn and called it a day, you'd probably have been the first person to go literally through the maze! :)

wow, lucky you brought the TGLB to save your ass:D

Lexi, I am just glad it was a MBC. I think you would have turned a few heads if you pulled out a Gladius and started hacking down the corn to get out.

Lexi, On a different note, I'm the one that just called you about my first Busse, Thank You for being so helpful, now decision time...

Awesome maze. Proof positive of the aliens making circles in Ohio. :)

Here's a trick I learned… take every possible right turn and you will eventually get to the end. Taking a consistent turn, and backtracking if you hit a wall with no turns, is usually very efficient too. Try it with the above maze.

You can also take every left if you are feeling froggy.

It's good to know that you had your MBC to get you out of the maze, getting lost in the corn can be pretty frightening this time of year.

I love corn mazes, my husband on the other hand does not see the point. I haven't had time to do anything spooky yet this year, though I am planning on going to FrightFest on Friday. Guess I will have to talk one of my cousins into going to the haunted house/corn maze next year :)

Now THAT would be awesome!

If you can't find the door, Gladius to the Rescue! Make one!!!!!!!! :D

Oh, my Warden cut up some cheesecake one night.
That was a sticky situation.
