I have the izula and the swamp warden, the izula is 1095 steel, the swamp warden is SR-101 (52100) which will be tougher, better edge holding, however I think its less rust resistant. Though the izula is plenty tough and has good edge holding. The Izula blade is 2.88 inches where as the SW blade looks to be about 3". The handle is also about half an inch longer (about the same length as the Izula II coming out later this year). The izula comes with a sheath and you can buy micarta handle scales or wrap it with paracord (I definitely prefer scales). The SW will have to have a custom sheath made and custom scales if you want those. I prefer carrying the izula to the SW as an edc because it's small enough to fit in pocket, and because of the scales. They're both about the same blade thickness. I have fairly large hands and think the izula has adequate handle length especially with the added width the scales give it. I'm guessing the skeleton warden is made of INFI since its made by Busse. The izula will be around $55 shipped a swamp warden will be $58 plus shipping if you buy it from the swamp rat store now while its still available (not for long though) otherwise you'll have to buy on the secondary market for around $100. I got the SW because it was available from Swamp rat right now. Definitely like both though, and they're both well priced, so I'd say get both, if you like one a lot more than the other, sell the izula at like a $5 loss or the SW for about the same loss or hold on to it for a couple months before selling and make some money off of it on the secondary market.
As far as the Bussekin companies, Busse is run by Jerry Busse, he uses a proprietary steel called INFI (VERY tough, good edge holding) his wife runs Swamp Rat who mostly uses SR-101 (52100 ball bearing steel with a proprietary heat treat) which isn't quite as tough but holds an edge better. Its also less expensive than Busse, and Jerry's brother runs Scrapyard knives which uses mainly SR-77 (S7 Jack hammer steel) Which is tougher than INFI but doesn't hold an edge as well, also the best bang for the buck/least expensive. Of course, Scrapyard has released Limited editions in infi and some knives in SR-101 and both swamp rat and Scrap yard have released knives in 154cm and D2. IMO for smaller blades (3-6inches) SR-101 is the best to go with for larger choppers (8-12inches) the tougher SR-77 is the best to go with, and INFI being the most well rounded (tough and edge holding) works at a broader range (5-12) all of this is just personal preference of course.
