FYI on the K5 Hawk: I *believe* that this hawk is no longer being manufactured with the punch spike at the end of the handle...so this item might possibly beQome a bit of a collectors item in the near future. I'm not 100% sure of this information but this is what I remember Eddie Killian having advised me of when I got mine without it and asked him "what's up with dat?"

Thanks for the scoop CQ, that's going to be good information to a lot of First Run purchasers! Another note, the Sheath Mechanic sheath is a $50+ value, and I don't think that they're being offered as the primary sheath anymore.

I'm hoping that this one will get into the hands of someone who will use it professionally, so I'll keep the price where it is. Eddie is really doing us a great service by offering these so low, so I don't want to stray too far from that Ideal. Hopefully the kydex scuffs will be enough of a turnoff for the "collectors" ;) .

I have that sheath on my K5 hawk and it's top of the line for certain. In fact the entire piece is beautiful work imho. The only criticism I have is that the edge came dulled on mine but that's easily remedied. Oh yeah...one other thing: I waited five (5) freakin' months for mine to arrive. Mr. Killian may have fixed this issue, but now that I have mine I'm glad I waited.

Sorry to step all over your sale bud. I'll shutup now.

Q out!

Trade on the Euro fell through, it is again available, now with a free sheath.

I'll trade for an M6 at current value, and add a --% premium to the show value of any Ripper.
Make that $155 for a Satin Ripper, and $110 for a coated Ripper.

Notice that I'm not making any money on either of these knives, and will actually lose money on both.
