What's your favorite model/variant. Any of the Busse family swords count. I only own a TNT-15 but greatly aspire to aquire a short butaniku someday !! What do you own, have owned , desire to own !? Pictures , comparisons etc encouraged !! Resized_20210930_151438~2.jpg

I want a handle a long butaniku :) and see how it feels in hand.

I am 5' 6" and the short butaniku feels too short to me by an inch or two.

The AK is a good short sword.

The TNT is great because the balance and speed are the best of all the short swords IMHO. It moves very quick and the point can be flicked around much easier.

I would love to see an INFI TNT-15.

The gladius is a beefy blade and its got ok slicing potential it has much more perceived weight and its harder to flick the tip around. Its strength is its stabbing capability its design lends itself to thrusting and its a heavier blade its the opposite of the TNT.

No experience on the Rucki, waki, chuckette or MOASH. The Moab is a monster. Its length could classify it a short sword to some. Its a super chopper, I wouldn't want to try to use it as a sword.

The F16 is much like the TNT, but not quite as nimble and light in hand, but has about the same reach.

Thats my .02

I played fruit ninja with an AK47, Wacki, and Rucki. ( not the AK pictured, but one that I regrettably sold). They all performed great. I think the Waki was the best.
The Waki was the most balanced and the grip was long enough for 2 hands comfortably. I kept reaching for the Waki after trying all 3. 6454F937-C72B-4490-86C6-09D13361F0D5.jpeg
I also have owned a TNT. It was just too thick for my liking. I would highly recommend picking up an AK or a Waki if you get the chance.

No room for the war sword. Made the list during morning coffee.. knew I'd miss a few but you OG hogs would come correct

Have the BG AK, Rucki, Waki, F16, TNT-15, HNWS…
Of those, my fav is the Waki because of the grip and balance. And that’s how I voted.
But really wish I had a Butaniku.
If the HNWS had a two-handed grip, I would’ve scored a LOT higher.

Had a Rucki that I eventually traded. Just felt too small for me at 6’ 3”. Was regretting my decision when along came the TNT-15! Not sure how I should vote, as those are the only two I’ve handled. I’d really like to try out a short and long Butaniku, but haven’t had the opportunity yet. My wallet yearns for the release of the Yard Stick.

I personally found the HNWS perfect for one hand. If it were a couple of inches longer then 2 hands would be great.

Had an AK, didn't want to regrind it, sold it unused. Was fortunate to score two of the Ruck Kensei, traded one to an OG Hog who seldom lets go of INFI. Stripped the keeper and reground the edge. Stripped my Waki and reground the edge. Scored two of the Scimitar variant 1311, stripped and reground the edge. Haven't touched the TNT-15. Yet. Will probably leave the F16 alone.

The RK is probably my favorite, really light and quick in one handed use.

Are you seeing a theme here? For my taste, many of the Bussekin Sword Like Objects have overly thick edge grind and benefit from the improvement. YMMV.

No desire to own a sword, my 13 yr old however, really wants a busse sword in his armory.
