Busse table at Blade Show 2020

With everything happening in the world today. I think this will be an off year for blade show. I’m actually surprised they are still planning to hold the event at all. I had my flights booked for the event in June. My flights got cancelled, and my funds returned by southwest. I’m gonna hold out for Blade Show 2021.
 
Busse did not have a table at the last two shows and were not on the vendor list for 2020. I don't think they need it with their current business model and the success they have with their online sales, but that's just my opinion, no special insight.

I am still booked for my table and get vendor updates but I can't imagine it happening. I don't know what GA social distancing rules are but not only do they need the state rules to support an event with that potential volume of people they need all of the ancillary businesses to be up and running... food service, hotels, travel, etc.. They'd be better off canceling than having a flop and damaging their brand. I give them credit for trying to reschedule though.
 
I don’t think it will happen. I have also heard of several vendors that are not going this year. Really don’t think I am going this year even if they have it.
 
I doubt there will be a Blade Show this year. Even if there is, Busse hasn’t been at the last couple of shows and seems to be done with The Blade Show. Based on the incompetence the show’s managers have been displaying recently, we will have to see if they ever come back.

I'm doubtful that Blade Show happens. I guess we'll find out in another week or two whether the great Georgia reopening experiment leads to an increase in Covid-19 cases or not. I hope against reason that it does happen, as I am buying a house about 20 minutes from the convention center and will be there all weekend given the opportunity!

This is one many reasons I stopped going.

moving booths and tables without notification.
ridiculous rules and no table security.
It had become hard to be a vendor and frankly at over 600.00 per table not worth it.

I do miss seeing my friends though.
 
Even the Advertisers' Index is way down in Blade magazine, which seems to indicate things have gone haywire with Blade.
 
Thanks for chiming in everyone. I was hoping Blade Show would be a high point this year. So far I've had to cancel pretty much every event plan I had this year.
 
It’s going to be a painful year. No tv no movies no trips,nothing really.
