Busse team gemini light brigade

In your pics it looks like when the blade was stripped (?) Maybe stripped ? They etched the BUSSE into the blade, or that’s the factory Busse logo, I believe that BUSSE is only on INFI blades. If it was never stripped it’s BBDC or comp finish. Just my 2 cents worth and I’m sure others will be along to help

You can tell if it is NOT deeply etched into the blade it IS most likely from factory 👍
I just noticed your last picture and it does look factory. If the steel looks grey ish and has no shine it’s BBDC. It it’s shiny and bright it’s comp finish.
The black handle scales look nice and black. They could be black paper micarta. The other two options were black g10 and black canvas micarta.

The handle are black g10, the finish of the blade is Competition finish. The logo " BUSSE" in the blade is NOT deeply etched in the blade 👍

The knife is a legitimate Busse. The cardboard blade cover & plastic protector are real & consistent with how Busse ships their knives. The logo looks right.
And it is INFI. 👍

Your other question- how do you know it is INFI:
IF it IS a Busse (Busse model, Busse logos)-
If no other marking besides "BUSSE" or Busse Custom Shop (beside a serial number if a limited edition), it is INFI steel by default.
If it is "Busse Combat Grade", it is SR101 (Swamp Rat Knife Works default steel)
If it says "A2 Special Edition", it is A2 steel
If it says "Elmax" under Busse, it is Elmax (No Team Gemini model made so far is Elmax, but Busse has used Elmax before with other models).
Etcetera.
If the model says Swamp Rat, it is SR101 steel,
If the Swamp Rat knife is marked "INFI" then it is INFI steel (See Swamp Rat "Ratmandu")

Basically, Jerry Busse tries very hard to keep the different steels used in his knives (other than the default steel used per company) clearly marked so that there are no misunderstandings on what steel your Busse (or Swamp Rat, or Scrapyard) knife is made from.
Long & short- if a knife model is made from a steel not usually used for that particular model, Jerry adds the steel type to the logo (or uses "Battle Grade" to denote SR101 specifically).

This is one of my TGLB's, bought directly from Busse during the TGLB production run, with its plastic protector & paper sheath, along with another gray plastic sheath from another Busse model. 🙂🤙

SE è un Busse (modello Busse, loghi Busse)-
Se non è presente nessun'altra marcatura oltre a "BUSSE" o Busse Custom Shop (accanto a un numero di serie in caso di edizione limitata), di default si tratta di acciaio INFI.
Se è "Busse Combat Grade", è SR101 (acciaio predefinito Swamp Rat Knife Works)
Se c'è scritto "A2 Special Edition", è acciaio A2
Se sotto Busse c'è scritto "Elmax", si tratta di Elmax (finora nessun modello del Team Gemini è Elmax, ma Busse ha già utilizzato Elmax in precedenza con altri modelli).
Eccetera.
Se il modello dice Swamp Rat, è in acciaio SR101,
Se il coltello Swamp Rat è contrassegnato con "INFI", allora è in acciaio INFI (vedi Swamp Rat "Ratmandu")

In pratica, Jerry Busse si impegna molto per indicare chiaramente i diversi acciai utilizzati nei suoi coltelli (oltre all'acciaio predefinito utilizzato dalla società), in modo che non ci siano equivoci su quale acciaio sia stato utilizzato per realizzare il tuo coltello Busse (o Swamp Rat o Scrapyard).
Lungo e corto: se un modello di coltello è realizzato con un acciaio solitamente non utilizzato per quel particolare modello, Jerry aggiunge il tipo di acciaio al logo (o usa "Battle Grade" per indicare specificamente SR101).

Questo è uno dei miei TGLB, acquistato direttamente da Busse durante la produzione del TGLB, con la sua protezione in plastica e la guaina di carta, insieme a un'altra guaina in plastica grigia di un altro modello Busse.🙂🤙
