So after about a 6 week wait.. my Busse Combat TGLB came this afternoon! Haven't had time to take any good pics yet, so these crappy cell phone pics will have to do for now... anyways

Its a TGLB, Tanker finish with Black Canvas scales... very impressed by the knife. The pictures online dont do it justice, just holding it in my hands and feeling the weight and balance was amazing, I love this knife. Now I just gotta save up for my battle mistress :)

hmmm... so I cant upload my pics... whats the best way to upload pics?

Use ether photo bucket or you can use the img location from Facebook. TGLB is a great knife congrats.

Sick knife, must make you smile.
Now get out the and make it dirty :)
And take some action pics for us!

Very sharp knife, sturdy, used it on a few random dead branches last night, works very well, chops good and shaves fine. Grip is very nice in hand, i went with a canvas handle because they seem to do alright when wet, wasnt sure about g-10 or paper... might get slick in hand? dont know. I will post up better pictures later on. I put it in the Spec Ops brand combat master sheath long. Fits great in the sheath, sheath felt ok on my belt. Bigger then i thought it was gonna be, but I love it. I also put a d-guard made outta 550 cord on it, but thats all for now, more pics later and more review. Plus ill post some of my other blades.
Happy Easter

Six weeks eh? I have one on order too, I hope it wont take too long. :)))

The TGLB is my favorite Busse that I have owned. Although I just ordered an ASHBM - Anniversery Straight Handled Battle Mistress. We'll see. :) Excellent choice on the TGLB, go beat on it like it owes you money, they can really take it.

Congrats on the great score. Does it feel great in the hand or what? I'd really like to get a second one in case anything were to happen to mine. Use it hard and let us know what you think.

I desperately want one of my own. But at that price I don't know if I'd ever be comfortable using it.

Don't know why not, get one and beat the crap out it, dig in the dirt, throw it, use it and if the time comes that you want it to look new again send it to Busse SPA and they will make it all new for you.

If you want to sell it, they hold their value....

Busse's are lifetime knives....

Congrats. Very nice!

Did you by chance compare it with the Fehrman First Strike and if so your thoughts?

No didn't compare it to the fehrman. I thought about getting a second one also.. Haha one to beat on and one to keep nice. But for now I'm gonna use it and have some fun. Also if your military you get a discount. They were asking like $387 I think and with my mil I.d. I got it for like $360 shipped. Very good company, easy to talk to and their customer service has been great with me.

Why get anything so expensive and NOT use it? Kind of feels pointless to me. And they are supposed to take everything you throw them at after all.. All the battle scars will just look better! What are you afraid of, breaking it? Even if you did, I'm sure you would get taken care of.

Yea I'm sure if it broke Busse would help you out. But I'm confident that my new knife will tear up some wood:) hey it's infini vs wood! The steel wins haha
