My brother is all about BUSSE knives along with Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard Knives. I have been buying, selling, bartering my way through the knife industry for years. I do not own a BUSSE yet but my very next purchase will be a BUSSE TGLB. After that probably a Rakmandu for edc.
Any thoughts on first BUSSE purchase are welcome.

P.S. I should add he owns a Rakmandu, and 2 BUSSE TGLB and in the market for a third TGLB.
 
I don't own any Busse knives yet but I'm waiting on a TGLB and a SWATmandu, whichever one ships first will be my first Busse. Maybe I'll get lucky and they will both ship the same time.
 
Awesome. thank you for the info Garth. Yea like I said My brother has 2 and getting a 3rd. he swears by them. I have done some research and that INFI steel is some choice stuff. He also carries a Rakmandu EDC. Also, Cold One I am interested in your feed back on both knives. Please stay in touch
 
It snowballs quickly, trust me. My first purchase was a Gladius followed by a TGLB, SOB, and a Swatmandu (with some rats and dogs in there somewhere too). I think a Gladius would be a solid first purchase, but the TGLB is a close second. Haha.
 
Ha, I am all about buying new knives. The gladius sadly is down the list due to price. lol I am not built like that right now, but later oh yea on the list for sure. it definitely lives up to its name. I feel like a gladiator wielded this blade at some point or another
 
Not yet, it's on the list for an outing though, I'm waiting on some pants for it now.
 
I just gotta say it - it depends on what you want to do with the knife. It's hard to recommend a knife unless we know its intended use.

I started with a SAR-4 which I no longer have. And my collection has grown since then, though most are just that (collection) and not used. But the one I carry and use when I hunt is the Basic 4.
 
usmcdjb, I agree the intended purpose is important. I have a knife for every aplication and then some. Truth be told if you asked my wife I do not need another knife. Ha ha, but then do any of us really NEED another knife? Lol if you ask me my answer would be hell yes. And I need a BUSSE. Thank you all for your input keep it coming. Pictures would be most apreciated.
 
I would also like to add. I am an EDC guy. Most of what BUSSE has to offer I would edc at some point or another. Just for pride of ownership if nothing else.
 
I love my Anniversary Mean Street for everyday activities! I switch between my AMS and Magnum Bear Cub (currently out of production). I bought a TGLB for my brother and he uses it for absolutely EVERYTHING! LOL I hope you find what you are looking for! Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!
 
Pokey1, in have been looking at the Mean Street for edc. That one and the Ratmandu. I really like that INFI steel. I will look up the Magnum Bear Cub on the second hand market. Right now I edc a Leatherman Wingman, Bemchmade Presidio Auto, and a Benchmade Adamas as far a knives go at the moment. Sometimes I roll my Becker Necker in there. Thank you for the input. I am sure I will find what I am looking for.
