Chopped various woods that have been outside for a few years, and the wood is covered in sand and dirt, which is one of the main reasons the Apex picks up damage. The Team Gemini's edge is at 17.3 dps exactly without a micro bevel. About 4 times throughout the testing, I used a small 1cm x 10cm piece of leather to clean wood off of the Apex. The leather does not have compound on it, so it can't affect sharpness. Overall, I did 2000 chops on medium and hard woods. No damage, infi definitely has high edge retention on non abrasives. The edge cleanly shaves hair after the test, also cuts the newspaper print cleanly.

Nice job Anton! Love these kinds of tests!

I couldn't tell but did you darken your blade somehow? It looked black but not like the factory black crinkle coating. Did not look like a factory finish.

I take it you like INFI better than SR-101 which you found to be too brittle on the edge for your liking under harder use if I recall correctly at lower angles like this?

You know it bro! I couldn't tell ya what my angles are at....I run em on a belt grinder and strop em hair popping sharp....all I've ever done. I use a handheld Makita bungee corded to an aluminum portable bench....Redneck as hell...but works great for me.

Anton, has things settled down in your area? I was really impressed with your video of concealed draw and fire.
No, it will never get better to be honest, exactly a year ago I quit my day job, I train concealed carriers full time now. People want/need the training, sad but true.
