Busse / Veterans Day Salute

This day provides an opportunity to thank those who served, serve, support, and sacrifice in a collective effort to preserve freedom. I am deeply thankful to all fellow Veterans for their service and to the Patriots who support the effort in so many ways.

A sincere thank you to all the folks at Busse Combat Knife Company, Scrap Yard, and Swamp Rat for the hard work producing superior knives… knives that many of our military professionals depend on to get the job done. Also, to the above and to the extended family of Busse knife enthusiasts and forum members - thanks for a rare camaraderie that is often difficult to find these days.

Here are a few pictures and the link to a video to bring it all home this Veterans Day.

I attended a remembrance day ceremony while at the college today, they sang the Canadian national anthem, a bagpipe player played before and after the minute of silence and "In Flanders Fields" was recited.

A short ceremony but it was well delivered.
