As promised here are some comparisons between my new Busse SAR4 LE and some European Combat/survival 'compadres'.

He he, ik heb inmiddels een aardige verzameling NMSFNO's. Als ik geld heb ga ik nog eens denken aan een BM. (Heh heh, I've fetched a fair collection of NMSFNO's in the meanwhile. When I have the money I'll think about a BM)..
 
Very nice pics and blades,,,,,,,,, However...... when you pick Busse to compare things to,,,, you've already lost. If I thought there was something a bit better I'd buy it,,,, There ISN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbup::D:thumbup:

There is however one exception to the above rule,,,,,Jerry has'nt made a folder YET (hopefully , one of these days ,,,please please please !!!!) .......... Lotsa money in that market he's missing out on. I'd bet if he set his mind to it,,,,,he'd conquer that market too !!!!!!!!!
 
Next to busse Fällkniven is the knives i trust the most!

....and as a Swede from Boden i put some pride in FK to, fact is, untill i found busse, i never ever found a knife that matches the quality of a FK, striders sux in comparison, benchmade just don't do fixed blades good enough and i don't even want to mention Cold STEAL.

but busse makes the competition hard on which blades that will follow me on my trips.
 
INFI steel is second to none, but it is hard to beat the ergonomy of Fällknivens. F1 is my trusted companion on my survival trips and I am not sure if Busse has a knife that can be on par with F1. For bigger blades Busse has no equals except for Fehrmans in my opinion. I've done some 'tests' (although my 'tests' mainly cover cutting ropes and chopping dead wood) and I found Fehrman FJ and FS a little bit better in edge retention than NMSFNO's and especially the FS is very easy to handle. On the other hand NMSFNO is built like a tank, and I would choose Busse when it's a matter of life and death.

For real combat use, that is: fighting with a knife, which I have never done, I would choose a Extrema Ratio as the Col Moshin and Venom are extremely light yet strong, and very easy to slash and thrust.

Busses are great and INFI is highly addictive, but there are other great knives out there.
