Does anyone have had a chance to compare a Busse INFI blade with a Kikuo Matsuda blade!!?

Who was the winner & why?

Kiko Matsuda is a custom maker from Japan who has been making knives for over 40 years. He is a 5th generation knife maker from Seki, Japan. He is well known for his grinds and use of superior steels, some at HRC of 64-65.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a general all purpose knife that won't break your wallet, Busse is a good choice. If you are looking for something for a more specific function and don't mind paying a bit more for a master craftsman's work, Master Matsuda is an outstanding choice. He has been referred to as the "Walter Brend of The Far East" for his tremendous grind work.

here is some of Kiko Matsuda’s work

That Matsuda is insane; he makes those forged in fire guys look like a bunch of baboons in a cave rubbing 2 sticks together; thats how highly i think of him.

Really

Ive had blades from KIKO

They are nice

Neat designs with an acid etch

I sold them so not overly impressed

I'm not one to ask about how they perform. TBH I just don't have a use for fixed blades like these other than because I really like the designs. I'll take them with me if I ever go camping I guess. #cityboy
