you can call busse at (419) 923-6471 and ask about getting an assault shaker, wich they may have in stock ready to ship.
they wont start producing the new coated version for a long time, but they are still making the plain black crinkle coats.

it is. currently.
to my knowledge however, with the inception of the new line, every blade in the line up will recieve several blade coating options, and possibly thickness/handle options on several models.
for the assault shaker, i beleive that the design will remain the same, but different coatings will be avaialable.
however, its the last knife to be offered in the new line up, so you got yourself probably about a year till you can get ahold of one in urban, crazy jungle spotted (i cant think of the name of it for the life of me...) or any of the other new coatings.

hahahahahahhaah well...yes Jerry, believe me Les only swear by your knives...I tryed to convince him to some other brands that I won't name her...he called them "substandar" compared to Busse.
But ok...I saw a Battle Mistress for the first time in my life yesterday and have to say they're "overstandar"...

Since we are talking about that other company. 
I put my vote in for a Bandicoot. Besides my Shaker it's my EDC. I actually just slip it in my front pocket or coat pocket if I run to town or something. In the field it's on my belt. In the field it usually takes a back seat to a Steel Heart but it's nice to have for the smaller camp chores.
I'd like to have a howler but money is tight and with the holidays it will have to wait. I'm waiting on the mini spec thingy they keep promising us.

I have (or had my wife took it) a Rat shaker, a Bandicoot and a Battle Rat, they're REALLY great knives! Now I'm waiting for a INFIcoot! Imagine guys! A Rat with some Busse blood!
