I just went to the website and was wondering if the War Boar was the only knife they have for sale? I have always wanted a Busse knife, but everytime I went to the website, there is only one knife you can buy? Whats up with that?

Welcome to you flbache. Busse Combat only runs one knife at a time, sometimes two. They will run it on their site for a couple of months while taking orders. Then they put a new knife up and start making and shipping the previous knife while taking orders for the new knife thats up. They also ship a few cases of the previous knife to the www.bussecompanystore.com for those who missed it during the initial run. Be fast at the bussecompanystore because they usually sell within seconds or minutes.

You can also visit the exchange here at BladeForums. Lots of great deals to be found there.

You can see all of the different Busse models that have come out at:

www.badmojo.tv

Hope this helps.

What part of VA are you in?

There it is now stuck again for the new blood. :) Hope that helps with that question in the future.

Silas,

THanks for the info. I was wondering if that was the case, but also second guessed myself at the same time. Makes sense I guess. Do wish they had more knives available at one time. I currently work for a DoD contractor and trying to get on the deployment team. From what I heard they want me and already approved me to come over to their team, once that happens I plan on going to Iraq or some other hot spot in the world and would like a Busse to accompany me.

Last time I was there I had the MercWorx Equatorian, but that is really big and heavy. Yeah, I could lob a head or arm off with it, but for everyday carrying and in and out of the hmvv would be a real pain. I also had a tomahawk when i was over there 2 years ago. If I go back over I am definately going to be bringing that with me as well.

I went to the website you provided. Love it! I am actually looking for something a long the lines of the Busse Classic, or basically any fixed blade with a length of 4-6 maybe 7'' blade. Something a little bigger than the Tom Brown's Trackers companian (smaller knife) but with a better sheath.

As for which part of VA, I live in the Fredericksburg area, close to Quantico, north of Richmond.

Thanks again.

I like the Hell Razor as well. Actually that is something along the lines I am looking for. Not to big, but not to small. Something that would make any opponent's eyes get a little bigger when taken out of the sheath.

Keep your eyes on the exchange man, probably your best bet for finding something you want. Also, if you come to decide on a specific model, post a thread in the "Knives Wanted To Buy" exchange.

Well if that be the case, then get on over to the Co. Store, I think Skunk still has some left.

as a newbie myself, and wanna-a-be busse owner, i just want to clarify one point silas made, and was not readily apparent to me in the beginning (possibly others i presume)

couple of months = 4-6 months atleast...

also, 2 weeks = do not under any circumstances think of holding you breath, maybe 2 months...

just something to keep in mind if you plan your knife purchases...

Oh yeah man, am I glad that Busse time constraints do not have anything to do with things like child birth or anything like that. Can you imagine how mad a woman would be if Busse time influenced their 9 months?

if my my wifes pregnacy (down the line) lasted 2 weeks (atleast with regard to the FBM schedule) i would have to flat out run and hide! i am just waiting with baited breath the the wait might finally be over....
