Last week I ordered a 30th Anniversary Battle Mistress, straight handle, double cut with tan micarta handle.

I get an email today saying it was done.... WAS DONE! <OH JOY>

It's supposed to take 4 to 14 weeks... but in less than 1 week IT'S DONE! <YAY>

Now I need to come up with the funds, or it'll be gone. <SOB>

Oh well, who needs food, rent and anything else to sustain life.

I have to say, order and ready in less than one week... I'm very impressed.

This will be my second Busse, my first was a TGLB with tan micarta handle in tanker grey.

That one took a whopping 4 weeks to get made, a lifetime!

If I've learned anything from this: don't order a Busse and expect a long wait.

Oh, and make sure you have the cash in the bank.

the waiting time of getting a busse knife , is not sooooo long , congrats getting a bigger chopper.

Congrats on the Mistress. I think I am currently at 12 or 13 weeks on my last order for satiny goodness.

This gives me hope for my TGLB I ordered last week. Hopefully i get a similar time frame as well! Congrats on those two awesome blades!!

Wow! That awesome, my TGLB took 5 weeks to my door, pretty impressed with the quick turnaround myself.

Congratulations on your new Mistress!!!!!

Yep, shortest I've had was 10 days.

I ordered a Swamp Rat Rodent Solution yesterday, my first Bussekin and I hope I'm as lucky as you were. Different shops I know but the anticipation is killing me already.

Just eat ramen noodles, drink water and wipe with newspaper for a few weeks and you will have the money!

Congrats on your new mistress! Be sure to post pictures when the lovely lady arrives at your door.

Very rarely we have finished knives that go unclaimed. When an order comes through for that exact configuration it does speed the process up

Congratulations on the new Lady, mt TGLB got here faster then i expected as well. The good news is the qualof the finished product makes it worth the wait.

Someone mentioned a Rodent Solution, i picked up on this weekend at a gun show. Practically brand new, kydex sheath, sage peeble finish, tan micarta scales, she is beautiful. You dont want to know what i paid for it :p

Well, just before I sold my kidney, lady luck smiled upon me and I was able to sell a couple of knives (at my asking price too) so it's all paid for.

Now for the waiting... Oh, the agony!

I'll post some picts when she arrives.

Have not seen a double cut finish on a blade that big......quick turnaround for what I figure was a special request. Congrats, can't wait for the pics!
