Busse, why NO thumb notchs?

I'm new to the Busse blades and really love the design. Seems to me that adding thumb notch's to these blade would be a major benefit.

Any reason why they are not standard on these blades?

do you mean a serrated spine? if so many guys have done their own with a dremel.

Jimping? is nice sometimes, but I don't really need it.

I mean the "lines" cut into the top of the blade where your thumb would go for extra grip. Guess, it's a matter of who likes what but I would like to see them as I find myself placing ym thumb their sometimes. When not in use they don't seem to bother anything.

Seems to be a personal preference, some like them, some don't.

It also would involve much more labor intensive input (hence more $$), which could affect price and delivery.

Many folks add their own, via Dremel, or filework.

Have seen some beautiful work done on many blades...:thumbup:

My heavy heart has a thumb notch. It's one of the reasons I'm keeping it over the battle rat.

I love thumb grips and consider it to be a great feature on any knife.
