Just mulling over things I'd like to see come out of O2W and I had a thought. What about something that isn't exactly a knife or a sword? I've heard people call Busse's a sharpened pry bar so maybe we need one. I'm thinking an eight to ten inch "blade", roughly two inches wide, sharpened on one side for hacking, a flat chisel ground tip for prying and/or chiseling, a partial cross cut saw back for cutting sheet rock or whatever else that needs sawing, a tear drop shaped nail puller out twards the end, a bottle opener notch on the spine just forward of the handle, and a flat pommel for wacking with a hammer. I think I need something like that in my tool box.

I'd love to turn up to a party and pull that thing out to open a beer :)

Pretty sure any BM is a wrecking bar. MOABs are the ultimate pry bar. You could always get a BM and chop the tip if that's really what you wanted. You could modify the talon hole on the end for better nail pulling capabilities. I personally carry a 16" pry bar in my pack for prying things but everyone has their own opinion about using knives for things other than cutting and chopping.

Love the BM's. I'd recommend a NMFBM also as it's even bigger. ;)

These do a better job as a demo tool IMHO; purpose built for it. ;):D I own all three (not my pics though :foot:) and they perform very well for the intended task.

But I bet a Busse "wrecking tool" would get a lot of folks around quite a few silly knife laws. ;)

^LOL, perhaps if you EDC a carpenter's tool belt... It could work. :D ;)

I'm starting to think you fellas have lost your imagination over the O2W hiatus. Lol! Why make a hatchet or a tomahawk? A big knife will do the job. Because INFI, that's why.

Busse Forcible entry tool? I'd buy one for work for sure.
I like the name you gave it way better than mine. Let's go with that.

Needs a cool moniker to go with it. I'm thinking Bug Out Blade And Forcible Entry Tool. The BOBAFET.
