hey guys
as the title said who would be in favor of a busse and kin WTB section on the knife exchange
it would make the search for sought after blades a bit easer for people
i dont know how hard the implementation would be but if the support is there i dont see why not
who is with me!!

They wouldn't do it cus everyone on here would want one. Spyderco, Emerson, Benchmade, etc.

What they should do is change the Busse for sale section to say Busses for sale, trade, or wanted.

+1 to this. I think that could help a lot of people. Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem like the wtb sub-forum gets a lot of traffic...

@jeepin
that would be a good idea
and i agree that the wtb sub forum does not get a bunch of traffic

This is a stellar idea! I think a lot of potential trades or WTB's are not seen by those that might be interested. I really hope that this thread gets some attention!

The Canadian Exchange forum has sales and trade together, but you need a Gold membership to post there, even a trade. The software can't be set to distinguish.

Sounds fair to me. Let's make it happen. Pay for gold if you want to use it. Isn't 25 beans worth it to get the Bussekin your heart desires?

Why, it's too much trouble to pop over to the trade forum and the WTB now and again?

Of course, "Let's make it happen" means let's persuade Spark to set it up.

I was thinking this exact thing the other day when my WTT thread got moved to where nobody would see it.

In my experience, the trade forums are looked over by plenty folks who would be interested in your items. Also, I think you've figured this out already, but if you put "WTS/WTT" somewhere in the title of your sales thread then it shouldn't get moved to the trade section..... ;) You can actually have a "WTT" thread in the trade forum and and "WTS/WTT" thread in the Bussekin sales forum..... :)

I tawt Spark sold BF??

I'm pretty sure he did, thought I saw a sticky about this in the exchange or something.

FYI, Im sure more people see the WTBs then the view count would indicate.
Ex-If I see someone wanting a Gerber lmnop and I dont have one Im not gonna click the thread so it will appear as though no one viewed it, but they do.

If that was true, then we would have had a clamoring for a sub forum for spyderco, emerson, benchmade, etc to sell within. But that never happened and Busse still has their own sell forum, leading me to think that having a Busse's own "WTB" sub forum is a good idea with little to no risk of any other brand wishing for their own sub forum. ;)

Makes absolutely zero sense to have a Busse sale forum and no wtb or wtt. So . . . theres 2,000 folks checking the sale thread 15 times a day and none of those folks go over to the general boards to look at anything. What exactly is the point to have a dedicated Busse and kin forum and not include everything?

It removes the many Bussekin sales from the regular sales forum so everyone else can find theirs easier. What, you thought it was only to help you? :)

Buck has a separate sales forum, too.

I have a want to buy thread in the WTB section and have had zero contact for anyone with a comp finish TGLB but several have come and gone in the for sale section before I could jump in on it. +1 to include WTB in the Busse section.
