Bussecraft, anyone???

I use my RMD, RS, DSF, NMSFNO, BWM, CGFBM, KD SH and SAR4 for wood/bushcraft. Choppin, Battonin, whittlin...

I am also looking for a "bushcraft" knife. I would like to keep it in the Busse family. I have been looking Blind Horses Bushcrafter knife and Falkniven F1. I am sold on the Busse family superiority and would like to hear what folks are using.

Honestly the BHK Bushcrafter in a scandi grind was designed just for outdoors wood work and would most likely outperfrom any Busse product in that arena. That said I think an Active Duty wouldnt do to bad.

I'm lovin' my satin RMD for all my bushcraft needs.

And with his less well-off cousin, who is almost as equally adept.

Yep... The FFG satin RMDs are excellent. On a recent camping trip I used a 711 and FFG satin RMD for fire chores.

I am finding my CABS is great for "bushcraft".

It is a feather stick machine, and is great in the hand. No choil, comfortable handle, and spine for no hot spots.

Just last night I was teaching the scouts to make a fire with wet wood (batonning the log to get to the dry wood inside, making a pile of shavings, and fuzz sticks)

The BAD also makes camping trips and canoe trips with me as well.

I'd love to the it head to head with a satin RMD or RMDx. That would be one heck of a run. :)

A Boney Active Duty (BAD) works well for detail work. The sturdier duties (AD and even HD) would do for the more demanding tasks - so would a SAR4,SAR6, SAR8. . .

I tend to be using my b10 most. The grind on it just allows it to be so damn sharp i cant help but only use it. I use my nmfbm a decent amount also but not near as much. I use my pork shank for smaller tasks.

Just pick up a regrind Boss Street solely for bushcraft/field use:

Sharp little devil  Now that the temp is dropping in Texas may try to refresh my feather stick/fire starting skill!

I wouldnt mind seeing a Boss Street type knife in a scandi grind, I just think that would be a really good and useful addition to the Busse line up.

Yeah, those have a pretty stout profile, bet the regrind is a huge improvement. Who did the work? Can we get a bigger pic?
