Nice

I do love 1911s :D :D

And even though they're not Busse 1911 grips, they're still pretty bad a**

Those 10 round 1911 mags ever jam on you?

Love seeing the "combo" pics..

You know Hilton did a recent review on mags with CMC getting the highest marks.

Nice combo congrats, how do you like the TRP i was thinking about picking one up.

not OP but I'll chime in on this one.
I think they are one of the best buys in production pistols.
My carry gun is a TRP Operator. I'm up to about 4k rounds, it has never jammed.
The only complaint I ever hear is about the 20LPI checkering on the front strap. I like it but it is pretty rough.

The ONLY thing negative I'd say about them, is that fact that you can get into the Les Baer arena for not much more money in the grand scheme of things.

I'm very happy with my TRP--I picked it up (used but freshly gone-over and re-coated by Springfield) for a lot less than I should have. I've had zero issues with the 10-round CMC mags in my 1911s. I stick with Wilson 47Ds for my 8-rounders, though, and Colt/Checkmate for 7-round Officer's 1911s.

Agreed. If you can pick one up used for a good price, DO IT. But they're no longer assembled in the USA (mine was) and with an MSRP of around $1500 there are quite a few other high-quality USA-built 1911s to look at. Les Baer and Dan Wesson come to mind...

I love my Springer, and I love my INFI! Thanks for sharing the pictures. That TRP looks like a blast to shoot...literally.

Nice stuff!
I second the opinion about Springfields being a great value.

nice hardware you gots there. hardcore 1911 lover here. I've got a few of those McCormick 10 round mags and they are excellent-I like em more than the Wilson 10 rounders because of the extended basepads-just makes em feel better and look better.

I'm pretty sure all the TRPs are still US assembled.
Its some of Springfields lower end ones that aren't. (non NM frame guns)
