Brother thread = Bussekin and guns!
Let's hear about your burger n' Busse experiences/adventures/tips.
I'll kick it off...
AGENT HOGS MULDER (
Mulder
) moved down from Alaska, to my neck of the woods, in the past couple months. Being new to the area, I thought he'd need experience one of the best burgers around.
The World Famous Jalama Burger. (CA)

I used to be a temporary help park ranger dude at Jalama Beach back in the day, and did a stint flipping burgers at the Jalama Beach Store. If you ever go camping at this beach, pack way less food than you think. The burgers and breakfast burritos are delicious.
Here's how it looks after you make the 14 mi. drive on Jalama Road, off Hwy 1, when you approach the County Park. Campground & store is down there at the bottom. Vandenberg Space Force Base is right on the other side of the ridge in the distance.

Here's Mulder and my buddy Agha, getting ready to grub. Agha hadn't had a Jalama Burger yet, either. Time for a real treat!
I tried to get Mulder to look at the camera, but he just wouldn't take his eyes off the knives on the table. He's got that trance-like, blissful "INFI grin" going on

After I snapped my fingers a couple times... "Dave, Dave..." he came out of the trance and was able to join us again.
I was so glad to meet up with Mulder & shoot the sh!t. I was bound to meet up with him again though... as he let me borrow a Son of Swat to fondle & I had to get it back to him (he's a super dude). I'm happy to have picked one up for myself recently.

These burgers are stacked!
The finely shredded lettuce, and secret sauce are the magic.
Since life here on the Central Coast is fairly suburban... there's not a ton of chopping opportunities. I knew there'd be some driftwood... and figured I better bring a couple choppers I've been waiting to try out.
I brought the WASP and Cliff Stamp's SHBM LE. Agha spotted a pretty good size piece of oak on the beach.
The WASP is a fair amount heavier & carries more momentum than Cliff's slimmed up SHBM... and the WASP really sunk in like nobody's business.
But, Cliff's was no slouch either!

Thank you
Cobalt
and
