Awesome! I may have to get a PBS someday.
Love big machinery. Don't know much about them, but I worked on many a Cat loader and dozer in the short time I knew my father.

I am gonna guess it is out of a large bull dozer or front end loader. Perhaps a Caterpillar D6 or similar type machine? Motor-grader or the like? Whatever it is out of, I bet it is fun to play with. I got to do a little work with a D9 a few years ago and it was one of the most fun days I ever had at work.

I have serious turbo envy right now. Very cool pictures OGE. Let's see some pictures of the machine it came out of!!!

Ugly Betty and her Pretty Sister look right at home on that behemoth! ;)

Cool pics! Love the 55-gallon muffler! :)

How sad is it that I thought I was going to see pictures of a cute and cuddly kitty. I am a bit disappointed, however those are still some awesome pictures!:)

hey ya'll without rat 30 this would never been as nice a trip. thank ya sir.

jdrazior, your close. it came outta a d 11 dozer. we are just rebuilding it right now.
i'll see if i can get some shot's of the big turbo's.

come on lexi you know me better than that(i'll get some "cute" one's later).

OP i think we might be getting a 3516 in to work on. yes it is a baby. you should see the one's in the draglines around here. they are still no match to some i have seen. there was one in a tanker that had piston's and rod's the size of my truck. that's a big diesel. it was so big. how big was it?

i was told it was so big that when they did work on it over sea's they would hire small asian women to climb through the motor like human cotton swab's. i'm not kidding!
MR. foley my welding teacher and ex-merchant marine. told me about it, then he showed me picture's.

Nice kitty! LOL!

I just rebuilt my first diesel and I was in HOG wrenchin heaven when I got to tear into her. When I took the head and parts to the diesel shop for some work they had a couple engines like yours and one that even dwarfed them. I swear the thing was almost twice the size:eek::eek::eek:

I was quite humbled, handing my pip-squeek Kubota V2203 head and parts over for some work:o

Cool pics!

There is an engine on the side of the highway down here that came out of one of the big tanker ships. I want to stop every time I drive by so I can get a picture of myself standing inside one of the cylinders. Overall it is bigger than my house. Can you imagine what it costs to fuel an engine like that?

Whew. Even I'm impressed.

You, however, should stay out of those piston shafts. You don't want to take work away from small Asian women, do you?;):)
