Busse's for sale by the buttload!

Has anyone else noticed this!? about half the "for sale or trade" are Busse's .......... just an observation....................:confused:

I've noticed it. I see you used the "confused" smiley, so will try to help clear some things up. I don't know for sure but I am guessing that you have never owned a Busse. Busse's are unique in that once you've held one in your hand, you want more. Most of us can't afford to snap up every Busse we see, so we have to resort to selling or trading to get our next "fix". I have bought and sold many Busse and Swamp Rats looking for the ones that fit me. I have some that I will never sell, and others I use as leverage to get more. That's another attribute of Busses: they generally don't lose value, even if they've been used. There are very few knives that I can buy and get my money out of them if I need to.
 
Or, it could be that the song of spring has produced fruit and people are selling in preparation of the new visitor.
 
I have bought ONE busse and have traded for another, then I traded that one for another as well.

Busses are like bladeforum's currency.
 
Feel free to visit the Busse forum here at BF. Read a few posts and get to know the folks you are asking questions about. Their methods and reasonings will be apparant quickly enough :D

Yep there is some of that going around:) :) .

Also there have been many very cool new knives that have come out and when that happens people sell off knives that they have more than one of to finance the new stuff. In my case I have two custom Mojos on the way and I have five Wardens on the way and I hope to add four more Wardens to that list. Also there are two FBMs on the way. add that up and you have about $5,000. And I'm not one of the big buyers!

So I may sell something like a Hell Razor or a Satin Jack that I have more than one of to raise money. But you'll see me sell of things like a second Umfaan and Ti Lum Folder long before I unload a Busse!

Ok, I understand now. Thanks for enlightening me folks. I thought all they made were the "machete" type knives. I took a look at the gallery and DAMN! They have alot of different models. I seen a bunch I want. lol like this one...........

Six months ago I was a lurker on the Busse forums. Two months ago I stopped buying my beloved Benchmades and 14 Busses (2 on order) later and man am I hooked. Big ones, little ones, they are the INFI version of crack cocaine.
