Hey Jerry, when will the Bussmucks be available? I'm looking for a no frills,4 1/2" blade,no talon holes,(won't need um on a bushcraft type knife)with micarta grip...something on the order of a Koster bushcraft or bushmaster would be the ultimate!! Edge all the way to the grip for close up carving..and of course..INFI!:D

Too bad you missed the SARganzaa. 5 inches of just what you described. I'm sure there'll be a few hitting the exchange soon. The SAR4's are hopefully hitting soon as well as the Mucks.

I checked out the SAR's but it's not the style I'm looking for.A bushcraft style is more to my liking and desire..

I was assuming you meant "choiless" and not "talonless", so I know that would be the SARs and the Bussmucks. If you really meant something without a Talon hole, then it wouldn't be a Busse. :D

Man...we are some HARD people to please. We just got the ETS SJtacs and then the SARs, we had Knob Creek AND Eugene...and now we're begging for Muks.

Truthfully, though, I feel ya. I WANT MUKS!!! :D:D:D

I think choiless is more likely than talon hole-less.

No worries though--contrary to some opinions I have read, I have NO concerns that the talon hole is going to weaken the knife. :D

The Talon hole is one of those identifying marks that make it a Busse.

I'm with you--can't wait for it to come out myself...

*shrug* It's Jerry's fault GatMan. INFI is better than than all the other steels...so every time he fills a need, we think of another slot in our knife sets that would be filled so much more effectively with INFI.

A personal Example:

I got a Steel Heart II as my All-in-Wonder recreate civilization knife. As soon as I really started understanding the power of INFI...I found I needed a smaller, working blade...I got that, and suddenly I needed an EDC...then I needed a sword....now I find myself constantly aware of my total lack of an INFI Tomahawk.

I'm sure once the Megaladon is finally put into production, I'll find another hole that has to be filled with INFI.
