I deliver mail to an old Mom and Pop hardware store. The guy is a knife guru, he collects old stockmans and such. Anyway- I showed him the new (older) knife set I had. They are older, but sat for years ...un- kept. He said to me, " You know...toothpaste will shine these up and get rid of the tarnish and stains." Has anyone ever used toothpaste to remove spots or polish up a blade?
Fast forward to last night--- I grab the set and truck on down to the master bath. I have the Collgate Total and my $80 Sonicare in hand. It's working like a charm- the Sonicare is ripping through the years of neglect- I am giggling like a child. Enter Mommabear!! "What are you doing?-- THAT IS MY TOOTHBRUSH!!" Without thinking I said, "Duh! Do you think I would use mine!" Guys, she didn't see the humor in it..... Lucky for me Target had spare parts!
She said I owed her....... Do you think I should get her a new knife??
Before you think I am a wierdo- I have spare heads for my brush---I planned on changing them after!
