Well, it's Thursday and as of today I have six pending orders for the Expo with a total of nine sheaths involved. The makers know who they are so no need to mention it here. The kicker is that of the six I only have one knife in house and it just came in today. As Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story is that each of these guys WILL have their sheaths delivered in San Antonio even if I have to tear out a lung to make it happen.

My heart is filled with sympathy for these guys, because as we all know the ABS just just sprang this show on them out of the blue. It's not like they knew the dates for the show about the time they left San Antonio LAST YEAR.........or did they????

Any way this is not a gripe because I love each and every one of them like a brother and I will do whatever it takes to see that they are taken care of.

Rant OFF.

Yeah, but you only do it to him like once every 4 or 5 years. Some of us have been known to make a habit of it. :D

Heck I'm planning on sending a couple Kukuris your way. Joe says you make real nice ones!!!! Please send me your addy, and yes I want crocodile! :D

If you are reading this post you're not tending to the work.... ;)

Just kidding. When I have too many knives to finish as a deadline (which is 90% of the time) I also resort to a peek at BF just to give me a break and to make my re-acquaintances for the reasons I am doing this. Got that? :)

Only one knife? :(

Breathe deep.

BTW, it has occurred to me (and probably many others) how YOUR work has and will increase the value of a knife now and well into the future. And I mean that in an 'investment' sort of mindset. Your work is THAT good. :D

Update! Just put the finishing touches on the last one for delivery in San Antonio. Thirteen pieces all totaled. Looking back at it is a whole lot easier than it was looking forward a few days ago. See you all in San Antonio!
