Nice batch Paul. I had a question for you. I don't want to derail you thread so I will start a new thread. Busy three or four days indeed. I couldn't make that many in 4 weeks.

Meh. I could TOTALLY make more sheaths than you Paul....

I mean. They would look like the dog chewed them..... ;)

Was the one with initials a special order?

Tal, that entire group was made for one knife maker so in a way they re all special order. The three with brands and/or initials were special orders via his customers requests.

Top row, fourth from the right, looks like the outline of Africa, that is an especially nice looking sheath. John

I agree with John, Paul.

I like all of your work - but the one with the continent of Africa tooled (carved as well?) into it is especially pleasing to the eye.

I particularly like your background. It reminds of the "Num-Num" tree leaf (indigenous to South Africa). Your carving always gets me a bit as it never looks like you took a knife to it - just like you beveled it straight in. Good stuff man!

If I may ask - what color is that from Wickett and Craig. I have some of their Oak and Russett - but I have always liked that color brown.

TF

Tal, the color at W&C is just that.....Brown. I use Russet, Chestnut, Brown and Black from them.

Terry, I read a lot;)

Wow! That's quite a production, great looking and well crafted sheaths. I'm sure more orders will come. Great job!
